Chinetti Motors Series



Chinetti Motors was one of the earliest Ferrari dealerships in the world. Mittenmaier's series <em>The Chinetti Impressions</em>, depicts historically correct Ferraris in original Chinetti garage locations throughout New York City. Chinetti Impression No. 1. The painting depicts Luigi Chinetti’s 1952 Ferrari dealership on New York City’s 19th Street.  This was the first Ferrari dealership in the U.S.A. One of Chinetti’s mechanics is captured painting the numbers on the side of a Ferrari 250 Testarossa Scaglietti.  Parked at the curb is a Spyder California.  Lady, the shop dog, looks on. Chinetti Impression No. 3. The artist has painted two Ferrari 250 MM Vignale Spyders at an early Chinetti location. Chinetti Impression No. 4. The artist has used his imagination to depict a deserted Chinetti location featuring a Ferrari 250 MM Berlinetta. Chinetti Impression No. 5. This is the back of the famous Chinetti Motors site at 440 11th and 54 Street. Parked in the garage is a 275 GTB NART Spyder.  Also, Lady, the shop dog, looks on. T’was the Night Before Christmas. Chinetti Impression No. 8. An amazing group of Ferraris is parked outside a Chinetti storage garage.  Featured are a 250 GTO, an America Spyder, and a Vignale coupe.
