Ferrari Gallery 1



Ferrari at Lime Rock. A Ferrari Testarossa Scaglietti painted on a rainy race day at Lime Rock Park. Nuvolari Mille Miglia 1948. Tazio Nuvolari’s epic drive in an early Ferrari Spyder Corsa.  Enzo Ferrari stands beside the road knowing the car will fail. This painting was requested by Enzo Ferrari for his book, Piloti Che Gente... Spyder California in Modena. Scuderia Ferrari was Enzo Ferrari’s original race team for Alfa Romeo.  He is pictured outside his headquarters on Via Trento in Modena, Italy. Phil Hill at Le Mans 1962. This painting shows Phil Hill in the 250 Testarossa.  The conditions caused even the unflappable Hill to spin, though he ultimately won the race. Ferrari Pit Stop. It shows the small bar across the street from the factory at the legendary Cavallino Restaurant.  Lady stands guard. Factory Reflections. A large painting done from the artist's visit to the Ferrari works.  Shown is the old factory gate reflected in the convex mirror situated outside the entrance. This small work shows a Ferrari GTO – the least likely automobile in the world to be put through a car wash. The 100th Anniversary Painting. This work of art was done at the invitation of Piero Ferrari.  The artist was asked to submit a work to honor the 100th anniversary of Enzo Ferrari’s birth.  It shows Enzo Ferrari and Fron Gonzales discussing a race at the factory gate. Barnyard P3. In this painting, a Ferrari P3 is parked near an old wooden water trough.
